
K9 Leadership Training is based out of the Greater Vancouver region of British Columbia and is a subsidiary of K9 Kinship Training Inc. K9 Leadership Training is operated by Maureen Fielding.
Maureen Fielding has joined the K9 Kinship Team and now runs K9 Leadership Training. She has many years of experience training her own dogs and is versed in many styles of training through regularly attending seminars by Dr. Ian Dunbar and local workshops to expand her knowledge and skills.
Maureen provides extensive knowledge to K9 Leadership She trains Puppy Kinship classes and all levels of tracking classes as well as leading the Tracking Club on Sunday mornings.
Maureen is loved and owned by a German Shepherd-Orrin and a GSDx -Griffin
Trainer Roz Wei joined the K9 Leadership Team in 2007. Roz was first introduced to K9 Kinship and K9 Leadership as a student with his then puppy 'Niko' and progressed from puppy through advanced classes.
Roz has been following the K9 Leadership training principles and regime since 2005 and has assisted in many puppy, basic and advanced classes as an apprentice with Joan during that time. He now teaches his own puppy and basic classes from a dog boutique in Coquitlam called the Urban Barkery.
Roz has a degree in psychology that he finds very useful in training dogs and their people, since a great deal of training is based in the principals of classical and operant conditioning.
He continually upgrades his skills, training and behavioral knowledge by attending regular seminars by Dr. Patricia McConnell and Dr. Ian Dunbar.
Roz is currently loved and 'owned' by his German Pinscher-Niko and his English Staffordshire Terrier-Eva.
